Product Description

Pacific Tuff care Tile Grout is flexible polymer modified Portland cement based floor and wall grouting compound with resistance to mould and fungi growth for joints up to 3 mm wide.

Advantages

It is polymer-modified for strength so just only mix with clean water. It made from non-sanded Portland cement based dry grout so won’t scratches highly glazed or polish tiles or stone. It is non-shrinking and durable.

Application Procedure

Application procedure: Mix grout to a thick, uniform, creamy mixture by adding powder to clean water – ratio Of approx. 0.4 litres Of water to 2kg of powder. Do not over mix, or add excessive water as shrinkage cracks may result. Allow to stand 5-10 minutes then re-stir before use. Grout tiles grouting too or piece of rubber to pack grout firmly into place. Remove surplus grout with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not a ow the grout to harden on the face of the tiles. When a haze forms over the tiles, polish careful y with a dry cloth and remove haze completely. Allow grout to cure for 24 hours @30.C@ 50% relative humidity. Apply in temperatures between 10-30 ‘C.

Theoretical Coverage(Approximate)

Wall tiles 0.5 kg/m2 up to 2 mm joints.

Mosaics 1.0 kg/m2 up to 2 mm joints.

2mm to 3mm joints 1-2 kg/m2.

Precaution

Periodically remix to keep the mixture workable, but do not add water, which can weaken the grout, cause co our variation and possible cause shrinkage, cracks and pin hoes. Discard grout when it becomes too stiff to work. co our shade variations can occur due to tie porosity, variations, finishing techniques and site conditions. Cracking and colour variations can occur if excessive water is used in mixing or clean-up. Water must be uncontaminated/potable.
